You can join Team ASPCA at any of our nationwide information meetings or you can join by calling 888-661-ASPCA. Stay tuned to our Team ASPCA page for announcements about future races across the country.

Is There an Age Minimum to Participate with Team ASPCA?
Team ASPCA welcomes members of all ages; however, minors (18 years of age or younger) must obtain parental approval and must travel (if applicable) with an adult to the race's destination. Please contact our office at (212) 876-7700, ext. 4654 for additional information.

Can I Participate in More than One Team ASPCA Event a Year?
Yes! However, please keep in mind that you must raise the required fundraising amount for each individual event.

How Do I Train?
If you live near one of our regional locations, you and your teammates will have the opportunity to participate in group training activities. You will have direct access to professional coaches who will train the group for approximately 16 to 18 weeks depending on the event. You and your team will meet at local parks, trails or tracks, and run or walk together on weekends or weekday afternoons. Your coach will help you get ready for the big day by offering fitness clinics, injury prevention, nutrition and other relevant topics.

If you don't live near a training area, don't worry -- we still have you covered! You will have access to a 16- to 18-week training and nutrition guide, and will receive updates from our virtual training coach, who will keep you on track to complete your event. Plus, you will have access to Team ASPCA conference calls, webinars and other key tools to help you train for your big day!

What Happens on Event Weekend?
If you join Team ASPCA as a "Top Dog," you will receive guaranteed entry into your race as well as access to group training, airfare, group ground transportation and hotel accommodations.* If you join Team ASPCA as a "Fat Cat," you will be responsible for your travel arrangements and accommodations, but we look forward to your arrival! (Please note: fundraising minimums for both Top Dogs and Fat Cats will vary from race to race.) All Team ASPCA members will celebrate together with pre- and post-event celebrations, travel together to the start line, and be cheered during the entire race to the finish line!
